Beginner Quests (Uladh)

The beginner quests are a collection of quests that players get when they start a new character. They provide some useful rewards, like certain basic skills, experience points (EXP), ability points (AP), and money (gold), and guide the player through Uladh.

Save my Sheep

• How to get
  • Complete "Rescue Resident".
• Objectives
  • Talk with Deian from the Pasture.
  • Guard the Sheep from the Gray Wolves.
  • Talk with Deian.

  • 1,800 EXP
  • 5,200 Gold
  • 6 AP
• Additional Information
  • When the player agrees to look after Deian's sheep, they will be teleported to an enclosed area. For five minutes, the player must protect the sheep from a pack of Gray Wolves. The mission will fail if the player dies and teleports back to town or the number of sheep falls below 5.

Campfire

• How to get
  • Complete the quest "Save my Sheep".

  • Talk to Piaras using the keyword "Skills".
  • Talk to Deian using the keyword "Campfire".
  • Right click the "Campfire Manual" book for advanced reading.
  • Use the Campfire skill.

Caution against Fire

• How to get
  • Get Rank F Campfire.
• Objectives
  • Talk with Trefor of Tir Chonaill.

  • A Campfire Memory

Malcolm's Ring

• How to get
  • Complete "Save my Sheep".
• Objectives
  • Talk with Malcolm at the Tir Chonaill General Shop.
  • Defeat the Giant Spider in Alby Dungeon and get the Ring.
  • Give the Ring to Malcolm.
• Rewards
  • 3,000 EXP
  • 3,400 Gold
  • 6 AP
  • Gold Pouch
• Additional Information
  • You need to be the one to kill the spider, if you're not, you can get another pass from Malcolm to try again.

Duncan's Praise

• How to get
  • Complete "Malcolm's Ring".
• Objectives
  • Talk with Chief Duncan.
  • Talk with Trefor/Deian/Malcolm/Nora.
• Rewards
  • 600 EXP

  • "is a friend of ..." title
• Additional Information
  • Duncan randomly selects one of four NPCs you will befriend, which gives you one of four friend titles. You can't get the others.

Playing Instruments

Duncan's Call

• How to get
  • Reach level 26.
• Objectives
  • Talk with Chief Duncan

• Additional Information
  • You will lose Eiry and get a race respective beginner weapon instead.
  • You may re-obtain Eiry if you wish by speaking with Duncan. Note you will need to dispel Eiry again if you wish to create a spirit weapon.

Let's gather Green Gem

• How to get
  • Reach level 6.
• Objectives
  • Deliver 1 Small Green Gem to Bebhinn.
• Rewards
  • 1,000 EXP
  • Guide Book for Quests Vol. 2
• Additional Information
  • Small Green Gem can be obtained from a variety of low level enemies around town, or by hitting props, like lamp posts.
