Auranogi on Linux

Installation

Install using Steam

Add AuraNogiLauncher.exe to steam as a non-steam shortcut

make sure it's on proton experimental and launch the game

Install manually using Lutris

It's possible to also install on Lutris. It's recommended to use wine.

Using winetricks vcrun2022, install using vanilla wine to avoid errors.

If that's not possible, switch to 'wine-ge-8-26-x86_64'

Add AuraNogiLauncher.exe to the desired executable to open.

Any version of modern wine should work, but may require differences in tweaking.

Wine-GE 8.26 Vanilla Wine Lastest (will need to install libraries manually) Proton-GE Latest Proton Experimental Launch with AuraNogiLauncher.exe

BlackCipher

Playing under Linux requires bypassing BlackCipher, which you can do by downloading the Abyss+Kanan mod pack available here, it contains a memory patch that makes the client ignore BlackCipher load issues.

1. Download the pack https://auranogi.wiki/downloads/abysskananauranogi.7z

2. Extract into your Auranogi client directory so all the dlls are alongside `Client.exe`

3. Rename/delete `BlackCipher` directory.
